About Books in Bytes
Great books hold ideas worth knowing, but not everyone has weeks to read each one. Books in Bytes breaks each book into small, focused bytes you can read in 30 to 40 seconds.
How a byte works
Each byte is one key learning, with two to four short sections. The sections change with the book, because a memoir, a habits book and a book of philosophy teach in different ways. For example:
- Memoirs: what happened, the lesson, and a takeaway.
- Habits and productivity: the idea, and something small to try.
- Psychology: the bias, how to spot it, and how to counter it.
- Philosophy: the teaching, what it means today, and a question to reflect on.
The last section, in the highlighted box, is always the one to remember.
Read a book from start to finish, or dip into a single byte over coffee. Swipe on a phone, or use the arrow keys or drag with a mouse on a computer.

A note on the books
Bytes are a starting point, not a replacement. If a book’s ideas speak to you, read the whole thing; the stories and nuance are worth it.
